In times of great-yu new wave when it all sounds a bit tired of Idol, Charles, orgasm, Azra, Haustor, film, theater, laboratory ... came three underrated albums Cosmetics (Cosmetics), the Beijing duck ("The fear of monotony") and Luna ("surreal things") that are in fact the whole craze about the new wave wanted to raise the level taller. Unfortunately, most critics and much of the audience was buried three albums just for the simple reason that dealt with the musical minimalism, which unlike the above names no one has used too much.
"I want the house" is more than phenomenal an album that continues beyond the ideal line Patkine "Monotonije", the first and only album Koztmetike, Luninih "unreal things, and dare I add, and art-works Boe at the beginning of the eighties (especially the debut of" Boa "in 1981.), the first work Dorian Gray ("Glow in the Dark", 1983.), and to some extent a few, mainly the first works of EKV. However, things are in the 21 century shifted slightly in favor of minimalism and more present a hypnotic musical techniques of repetition, so that the Gorillaz use roughly similar musical sequences to create their own compositions. The album users a multitude of trend-rhythms of the early 21st Century (trip-hop, r'n'b, d'n'b), but in the context of use vlastitith preoccupation. Their songs are great (there are 10), and talk about slavery and the termination ovisništva addiction (the title of "St. Blues"), self-realization (a great composition, "No," which says "... I am a believer without a church, a citizen without a city , without the woman's lover, the rhythm without drums ..."), policy (very strange, "Bass Tsunami"), a mild nihilism (hitoidna "Glossy no"), bluezerska trip-hop psychedelia ("I hear the blues") and unfulfilled dreams (the last "I am not afraid"). As
hit imposes the composition mentioned "No", then "disappears" from the typical hip-hop / r'n'b rhythm with an excellent text and an even better gig guitar, and just mentioned "I am not afraid." Great!
first track "Burning" is a great dance track to the great instrumental "Theme for Great Cities" Simple Minds (if not better !!!), and the other "Dalajláma me to recall an" excellent hypnotic retro in work groups with the bold Can impacts trip-hop.
British represented the peak of his career touring in America, so why this great part of it would not have been at least one concert in Zagreb, Ljubljana, Sarajevo and Skopje? At least as the beginning of great career! Or simpler, who remembers Boe, Idol, cosmetics, in Dutch, of course ovovjekog Rambo Amadeus, The Beat Fleet, this would be a great replacement.
